Seed Technology Papers
From 1950 until 1998, the Seed Technology Laboratory (STL) in Mississippi State’s Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station (MAFES) provided support to the seed research industry in the U.S. and abroad. Seed conditioning equipment manufacturers, realizing the significance of this support, began testing new equipment at STL, and came together there to provide hands-on training in the Short Course for Seedsmen.
This collection of materials, created and collected by STL students and staff, has become the backbone of seed industry research. The articles collected here are still valued by seed researchers and production companies for guidance in quality assurance.
